Everybody has dreams. Some are born with them and some stumble upon their calling. I too had a dream. When I would sleep, I would dream of living it. One fine day, somebody told me, “To travel is better than to arrive.”
Back then I laughed it off, not quite understanding how that was even possible. And I didn’t realise how true it was until I had what I wanted. That’s when I was struck with a sudden realisation that the person living the dream is different from the one who had worked for it. I have now become a wiser, calmer, stronger and more passionate person.
The journey had transformed me. I made mistakes and learned from them. I fell down and learned to get up again. I cried and I learned to wipe my tears. I made friends and learned to value people. I made enemies and learned to value lessons. The journey had transformed a naive caterpillar into a beautiful butterfly, eagerly waiting to explore the world with her newly found wings.
So friends, always remember: “Experience is the best teacher and for that, there are no guarantees that one will become an artiste. Only the journey matters.” So here’s to a new journey… CHEERS!!
