“Laugh, and the world will laugh with you: Cry, and you cry alone.” These lines have a lot of importance in today’s scenario in which we are living. Whenever someone is in a joyful situation, one forgets oneself and flies in the air like a bird; whereas, in a tough situation, one forgets that it was merely a test and will subside soon.
Nothing is permanent, so are situations. One has to maintain stability in both cases. One shouldn’t be too excited in happy situations nor too depressed in sad situations because we are all actors playing a unique role in the world drama. Hence as actors, we have to play our role equally well in both situations and get back to our normal life off the stage.
Everything in the world drama is predestined. Hence, one has to maintain equilibrium in all situations. For this one has to always remember one’s real identity — “I am a peaceful soul, child of Supreme, playing my role in World Drama”. This requires surrendering the intellect completely to HIM who is Supreme, who sustains the entire universe. Only then can one be free from all waste, negative thoughts and energy.
We can feel His powers very well if we are mentally close to Him. However, if our sense organs are busy in accumulating information available only at the gross level, then, we may not be able to absorb subtle experiences that bring peace.
So, remember, life is too short; don’t worry about what people think about you. Life is too beautiful to get just enthralled, hence one must make use of every moment to experience complete joy and happiness.
